The most distinguishing feature of the Audemars Piguet Tradition Perpetual Calendar Minute Repeater is its elegant cushion- shaped case - a throwback to 1923 when pocketwatches in similar form were in existence. Crafted in 950 platinum or 18k white gold, the watches can range in diameter from 39mm to 50mm. Its exhibition caseback is made from sapphire crystal to give the best view to its manual winding mechanical movement generating a power reserve of 42 hours. The Audemars Piguet Tradition Perpetual Calendar Minute Repeater features a silvered dial with gold tone Breguet style, applied Arabic numerals, a pair of "Cathedral" hands, and a number of blued steel hands. These indicate the hours and minutes, day, date, moonphases, month, and leap years. A rare masterpiece, the Audemars Piguet Tradition Perpetual Calendar Minute Repeater houses both a perpetual calendar and a minute repeater.
